Patrick Fay Chiropractic
.Patrick Fay Chiropractic treats patients in three Florida locales: Key Largo, Big Pine Key, and Miami Beach. Patrick says: I practice low-force chiropractic. I use both the Network Spinal Analysis method of treatment and diagnosis, and the Activator Method to deliver stimuli to the nervous system to make changes. Network Spinal Analysis is way to communicate with the nervous system based on gentle touch to the two ends of the spinal cord, the neck and the sacrum. The nervous system makes the changes that occur. The Activator Method uses a tool to stimulate the organs that are housed in the spine which give us information about position of our body in space. This stimulus gives us an opportunity to change how we are interacting with world around us with our spine.
I use Acupuncture to help with the treatment of injury and the chronic response to injury. Acupuncture is a powerful medium to interact with the body's electrical energy system or chi. One of the major regulators of body processes outside the spine is this energy system. Acupuncture points help regulate blood circulation, inflammation, nervous energy flow, and chemical transmission to local areas of the body as well as overall health. This is an ancient system of treatment which has modern application. Treatment is done with electrical stimulation of acupuncture points as well as with acupuncture needles. Also stimulus is delivered with hand and finger stimulus.
I practice massage and body work techniques to help to release the spine for adjustment as well as a medium to correct compensations of the muscle system. Many habits of posture and injury have been established in our bodies as we come in contact with life stimulus. Work to change these chronic patterns can bring excellent response from the nervous system. Many techniques of stretching, mobilization, and end of range movement are part of my work.
